The annual
retreat for the priests of the Diocese of
Chikmagalur began on the evening Monday,
29-11-2021 and concluded on Friday, 03-12-2021.
It was held at CMSSS, the social center of the
Diocese. 46 priests were present.
Rev. Fr Jacob Mariadas, the Carmelite priest of
Ranchi, was the preacher. He is well known
preacher in India who gives retreat for the
priests and religious. His words, his examples
and his life style motivate us to turn towards
God and proclaim the good news of Jesus.
It helped us priests to have a personal
encounter with God. The time of retreat brought
renewal, refreshment and increased our zeal to
serve for Christ.
