From Vision to Reality: SJES Inaugurates New
School Block
St. Joseph's Educational Society (SJES), located
at Jyothinagar, Chikkamagaluru - 577102,
joyfully organized the Blessing and Inauguration
Ceremony of the New Block of St. Joseph's
Primary & Higher Primary School at the Cathedral
Campus, Chikkamagaluru, on Thursday, 10th April
2025. The event marked a significant milestone
in the society's ongoing commitment to holistic
and quality education.
The solemn blessing and inauguration were led by
Most Rev. Dr. T. Anthony Swamy, President of
SJES and Bishop of Chikkamagaluru. His presence
added grace, reverence, and significance to this
joyful occasion.
In his inspiring address, Bishop T. Anthony
Swamy expressed heartfelt joy at the completion
of the new school block. He praised the
relentless efforts of the management and staff
and emphasized that true education must shape
both the heart and the mind.
The event was graced by the Governing Board
members of SJES. Mr. Michael Baptist, Board
Member, addressed the gathering with motivating
words, highlighting the importance of this new
milestone and sharing a hopeful vision for the
institution's future.
Several priests from the Diocese of
Chikkamagaluru were also present, offering their
spiritual support and blessings, which enriched
the occasion with grace and solemnity.
A special moment of the programme was the
felicitation of Rev. Fr. Marcel Pinto, Secretary
of SJES, who was honoured and warmly appreciated
for his tireless dedication, exemplary
leadership, and unwavering commitment throughout
the planning and execution of the project. His
pastoral wisdom and organizational skills were
instrumental in transforming this vision into a
reality.
As a gesture of sincere gratitude, the SJES
Governing Board honoured all those who
contributed their expertise and effort toward
the construction of the new block. Their skilled
contributions and dedication ensured the
successful completion of the project.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks
and a fellowship meal, as the Heads of the
Institution, Parent-Teacher Members (PTM),
staff, students, and well-wishers came together
in a spirit of joy and gratitude. The event was
more than just the inauguration of a building-it
was a celebration of unity, vision, and shared
purpose in shaping a brighter future for the
children of St. Joseph's School.
